  • Converted a classic ASP application to ASP.NET so that it can be maintained and enhanced using Visual Studio. The old application, with over 1,300 ASP pages and a class file containing over 18,000 lines of code, was written in classic ASP connecting to a SQL Server 2000 database and used ADODB function calls to a DLL written in VB. The conversion involved rewriting the DLL source code in VB.NET and converting each ASP page to ASP.NET. The application was then moved to a new web server, and the database was migrated to a new SQL Server 2005 server.

  • Designed web site for contracting company that included a cubic-yard calculator allowing customers to calculate amount of topsoil to order. Price listing page displays prices stored in SQL database. Admin pages allowed the owners to update prices as needed.
  • Designed web site for a logistics company . Site includes a contact us form, an on-line driver application, and a request a quote form.
